Simona Mannu is a cellist and arranger, fascinated by genre-crossing and interdisciplinary work with interests spacing from classical to modern music. Graduated in Classical Performance from Leeds College of Music, Simona had the opportunity to share stage - collaborate with Marc Almond (with reviews from Mojo Magazine, BBC Radio Leeds, & iPlayer 'Inside Out'), Björn Ulvaeus (ABBA), Giovanni Sollima, Anne Sofie von Otter, Sue Perkins, Matthew Herbert, Natalie Clein, Sandi Toksvig, Jessica Cottis, Natalia Luis-Bassa, Gabriel Prokofiev (Nonclassical), Mr Switch and Carrie Hope Fletcher, with performances at Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, O2 Academy Leeds, Tate Modern, Leeds Town Hall, Royal College of Music and Leeds College of Music. |
